The Day 1/Day 4 of the Convention Meme is a viral meme created by David Cox on July 12, 2020, the fourth day of the in-person portion of the National Convention 2020.[1]
The meme is a comical combination of YouTube screengrabs comparing Vice-Chair Alex Merced's polished appearance on day one of the convention[2] to his unkempt appearance on day four[3].
Kristen Wichers reposted the meme with three "Tears of Joy" emojis.[4]
LNC Secretary Caryn Ann Harlos called it "By far best meme of the year".[5]
