James "Jim" Wanke is a Libertarian Party activist. He was the Temporary County Chair (2017—2019) and County County (2019—2021) for Wyoming County, New York. In March 2017, he was a write-in candidate for Mayor of Wyoming, New York, where he received 44% of the vote. He also received 2 votes for Trustee.
