Paul Grindle is a current Member-At-Large of the Executive Committee of the Libertarian Party of New York and Chairman of the LPNY's Rules Committee. He also serves on the LPNY's Legislative Affairs Committee, IT Committee, and Platform Committee. He provides management and assistance to Libertarian campaigns. He is a New York State Co-Coordinator of the Libertarian Pragmatist Caucus and a member of the Libertarian Socialist Caucus.

He is also an At-Large State Committee Member of the Libertarian Party of New York's former corporation side and original body, the Free Libertarian Party, Inc., which currently exists as the defunct Libertarian Advocates of New York, and was the 1st Vice-Chair of the Suffolk County Libertarian Party where he served as the 2019 Campaign Coordinator. The Suffolk party saw a historic number of candidates that year and saw several cross endorsed candidates win their elections. He was a delegate seated with the New York party's delegation at the 2018 and 2020 Libertarian National Conventions.
