The Hands Off My Caucus was a Texas caucus that was formed in 2016 to protect the structure of the State Libertarian Executive Committee.
2016 State Convention
There was a motion to restructure the SLEC into a smaller body, that as many observed would be easier for a dedicated faction to gain and hold control of, much like the LNC. The effort to stop this succeeded. In addition to this consideration it was pointed out to rural districts that if the motion were to succeed it would be their representation that would be hurt the most.
