According to the December, 1998 issue of LP News, the Periodicos Hispanos de Texas, the Texas state organization of the National Association of Hispanic Publications, endorsed Libertarian candidates Anthony Garcia for Lieutenant Governor and J Manuel Montez for Commissioner of General Lands in 1998.
