Robert Murphy was Chair of the Oklahoma Libertarian Party during the early 1980s leading up to the David Bergland 1984 presidential campaign. Under his leadership, Campus Libertarians flourished at the University of Oklahoma. He was a key figure in the Oklahoma Caucus gatherings held during numerous national conventions.
