Joseph "Joe" Hauptmann is a Libertarian from Zionsville, Indiana. He has previously served in a variety of roles within the Libertarian Party, including multiple tenures as Chair of the Libertarian Party of Indiana. He spent many years teaching science in public schools, and one of his favorite quotes is "The truth shall set you free, but first it will piss you off!"[1]
On January 4, 2018, Hauptmann declared his candidacy for Vice-Chair of the Libertarian National Committee.[2]
