Stephen Cano is an activist for the Libertarian Party of Kings County; a former Member of the Libertarian Party of Kings County Executive Committee; and 2018 Libertarian candidate for the 32nd Assembly District in California. He was formerly a Republican, but became a Libertarian in 2016. He considers himself to be a "Conservatarian" minarchist ideologically. He holds some traditionally conservative views. For example, he is pro-life and is in favor of improved border control and a streamlined immigration process. He previously served in the United States Navy and is currently going to college. He resigned from his position on the Libertarian Party of Kings County Executive Committee in April, 2018, for personal reasons, after ending his campaign for 32nd Assembly District in California.
