Michele Poague is an author and business manager from Aurora, Colorado. From 2003-2005 and in 2008 she was the Fundraising Director for the Libertarian Party of Colorado, and was also state chair in 1996.[1]

In 2012 and 2016, Poague ran for the 29th District of the Colorado State Senate as the Libertarian nominee. She would finish third on both ballots.[2]

On March 26 2018, Poague was nominated at the 2018 Colorado Convention to run as Scott Helker's Lieutenant Governor pick in the 2018 Colorado Gubernatorial Election.[3]
