Andy Horning was a significant figure in Indiana politics in the 1990's for the Libertarian Party of Indiana.
In 2001 he was awarded the Dr. Barbara Bourland Light of Liberty Award.
In 2008 he was the gubernatorial nominee.
In 2009 he was awarded the Steve Dasbach Chairman's Award for Extraordinary Service
