Jay Vandersloot was the Chair of the Libertarian Party of New Mexico from 2005 to 2009 when he was term limited out. He was elected the the position of Vice Chair at the Libertarian Party of New Mexico 2009 convention, and Ken Cavanaugh was elected Chair. In October of 2009 Ken Cavanaugh resigned due to health concerns. Jay Vandersloot took over the role of Chair again.
