He is a firm believer in the national party's role in ballot access and was Chair of the Ballot Access Committee from [[1990]] through [[1997]], the timespan including the successful efforts for 50 state ballot access in [[1992]] and [[1996]]. He started his efforts as a petition volunteer in [[1988]] and recently served as the LNC's Ballot Access Project Manager.

William "Bill" Redpath is the current treasurer of the Libertarian National Committee. He is also a former chair and longtime member of the Libertarian National Committee and past Treasurer of the Libertarian National Congressional Committee who has been involved with the Libertarian Party since 1984. At the 2006 Libertarian National Convention in Portland he was elected as the new national chair. In 2021, he was appointed National Ballot Access Coordinator.
