[[Category:Elections]]
After the passage of new legislation in 2004, the Libertarian Party of Louisiana was officially recognized.  Prior to 2005 all Libertarian Party candidates were listed as (O)ther.
The Libertarian Party of Louisiana became officially recognized by the State under a new law passed in 2004All elections before 2005 list Libertarian candidates as (O)ther.  Due to this labeling issue, historical data beyond the early 2000's is not readily available.  Efforts are being made to reconstruct and cross-reference internal party data with election results maintained by the Secretary of State and will be added here as they become available.  If you know of any historical candidates for office not listed here, please contact the party secretary to have them added.
