The York County Libertarian Party is the county affiliate of the South Carolina Libertarian Party representing York County.
The party represents the cities of Rock Hill, Fort Mill, York, Clover, Tega Cay, Sharon, Smyrna, Hickory Grove, and McConnells. York County is separated from Mecklenburg County and Charlotte, NC by the state border and forms many of the up and coming suburban communities that feed Charlotte's economic boom.

Notable Events
In 2012, Jeremy C. Walters, a Libertarian candidate from Fort Mill garnered 46% of the vote against an entrenched incumbent state representative, almost pulling out an upset against her.
