James Werner is a Texas Libertarian and software analyst who moved from Connecticut in 1998. He ran against Lloyed Doggett for the 25th Congressional seat in 2004 and for Texas governor in 2006 against Rick Perry, Kinky Friedman, Carole Strayhorn, and Chris Bell.
He has attended Vanderbilt University the University of California and has a master's degree in Spanish and Latin American literature.
