Gerard Lewis was an At-Large Committee Member of the Libertarian Party of New York.
Lewis was a longtime Howard Stern listener who would frequently attend Stern's live events when Lewis lived on Long Island (he moved to Buffalo in 1989).[1] When Howard Stern announced on March 21, 1994 that he would be seeking the Libertarian Party of New York's nomination for Governor, Lewis joined the party to attend the annual state convention.[1]
