All data, if I remember correctly, for federal and state offices, except President in 1972 and 1976 and possibly a couple of write in candidates, are the official results from the Connecticut Secretary of State Statement of Vote. Additionally, "Top Offices" in odd years (Mayor) are official results from the Secretary of State from 1999 to present. Other local offices, such as town council and board of education, are official from the Secretary of State from 2013 to present.

All Libertarian candidates for federal and state offices listed in the CT SOTS Statement of Vote.
President in 1972 and 1976 are as reported on old versions of LP.org. Local election data other than that which comes from the Secretary of State, are either from archived versions of LP.org, were reported in [[LP News]], or were reported in the [[Richard Winger Vote Total Archive|Richard Winger Voter Archive]]. Those unofficial sources do not always agree with each other on the vote total. And they do not use a consistent methodology of calculating the vote percentage in multi-member local elections.

President in 1972 and 1976 are as reported on old versions of LP.org. Local election data other than that which comes from the Secretary of State, are either from archived versions of LP.org, were reported in LP News, or were reported in the Richard Winger Voter Archive. Those unofficial sources do not always agree with each other on the vote total. And they do not use a consistent methodology of calculating the vote percentage in multi-member local elections.

There have been several Libertarians who ran on other party lines. At least two were elected in 2013 and there have been others in the past. They are not included here. Libertarians who were appointed to offices are also not included here. AJPEG (talk) 04:40, 28 May 2019 (CDT)
