The '''Libertarian Party of Douglas County''' is an affiliate of the [[Libertarian Party of Colorado]].  It was initially formed in 2001 and lasted for about year after which it dissolved until 2016 being restarted by [[Wayne Harlos]] and [[Caryn Ann Harlos]] of Castle Rock, Colorado.  For about one year prior to re-affiliation it existed as a "Development Group" (a now defunct in-between category in the [[Libertarian Party of Colorado]].  Douglas County is one of the few "red" counties in Colorado.
