April Gausling is a Libertarian activist. At the 2024 Texas state convention, Gausling was asked to self-nominate as a presidential elector candidate for the Libertarian Party of Texas, which she did. [1] Her nomination was subsequently approved by the Texas State Libertarian Executive Committee. [2] Gausling was unanimously elected Secretary of the Polk County, Texas, Libertarian Party in May 2024. [1]

Personal
Gausling married her longtime boyfriend Nick in January 2019. They originally met online and their shared libertarianism was a major factor in them hitting it off. They currently reside in Greater Houston, Texas. [1]
