Daniel Donnelly served as Chair of the Dutchess County Libertarian Party. In 2019, he ran for an At-Large position of the Libertarian Party of New York State Committee. In November 2019, Donnelly was a moderator of the Olean Libertarian Presidential Debate.
He announced his candidacy for State Committee on January 1, 2020[1] , winning a term September 2020 - 2022, and re-election for the State Committee's successor session, September 2022 - September 2024.
He serves as Advisor on Mike ter Maat's campaign for President of the United States in 2024.
