Lincoln Gaffney is a founding member of the Libertarian Party Wild Caucus, and the organization's current Vice-Chair and Southwest Overseer. He is a friend of Elijah Mack, the Wild Caucus' founder and chair. Lincoln is a member of the Libertarian Party of Utah, but has attended activities in California, such as the California Convention 2023, where he helped with the first ever Wild Caucus tabling. He was appointed Vice-Chair after the California Convention 2023. Despite holding Paleo-Libertarian beliefs he has been critical of the Mises Caucus due to lack of action by leadership and perceived Anti-Semitism.
