In 2009, he ran for Congress in a special election to fill the vacancy of Kirsten Gillibrand upon her taking a seat in the U.S. Senate, but the Board of Elections knock him off the ballot.[1] In 2022, he ran for the nomination for Governor of New York at the New York Convention 2022 as a protest vote, giving a speech and immediately leaving the convention.
