Theodore Walden Hamby, III was born November 2nd, 1997, in Savannah, Georgia. He grew up in Effingham County and graduated from South Effingham High School in 2016. Theodore graduated from the University of Georgia in 2020 with a B.A. in Political Science. During his time at UGA, he served as the social media director for the University of Georgia College Republicans. In addition, he served as a field staffer for the Brian Kemp for Governor campaign. At only 21 years of age, Theodore was the youngest field organizer in Georgia GOP history. After growing increasingly frustrated with the rising national debt, he made the decision to leave the Republican Party and join the Libertarian Party. Within weeks of joining, he gained a role on the executive committee. He has served as the Membership Director of the Libertarian Party of Georgia since May 2020. Since he accepted this position, Theodore’s leadership has taken the Libertarian Party of Georgia’s membership into the top 10 in the nation.
