Borders are the geographic boundaries of a state.
Traditionally, libertarians have held that borders should be open and unrestricted.
Some libertarians however argue that as long as a limited government is a necessity, immigration laws are likewise a necessity.
Most libertarians agree that the best way to combat illegal immigration is to dismantle the welfare state which encourages it.
