Ken Cavanaugh was elected Chair of the Libertarian Party of New Mexico in April 2009. In October of 2009 Ken Cavanaugh resigned due to health concerns at which time Jay Vandersloot, Vice Chair at the time and previous Chair, took over the role of Chair again.
