In 2001, the Libertarian National Committee established a Strategic Planning Team to do an in-depth study of the Party's strategic situation and make recommendations regarding future plans and goals.
The membership of this team was composed of members of the LNC itself (all members of the LNC were invited, but not required, to participate) along with other activists specifically invited to provide additional perspectives.
