Murray Rothbard (1926-1995) was an american economist belonging to Austrian School of Economics , who, among other things, renewed anarcho-capitalism.
Rothbard was not only an economic theorist, but an economic historian of considerable stature. He is one of the few economic authors who have studied and presented the pre-Smithian economic schools, such as the scholastics and the physiocrats.
His books include "Man, Economy and the State", Power and Market, [www.mises.org/rothbard/agd.pdf America's Great Depresion]
