Jake Porter served as an Alternate to Region 6 of the Libertarian National Committee (2008-2010) and as an At-Large Representative for the Libertarian Party of Iowa (2007-2008). Jake was also the Iowa Coordinator for Bob Barr's Presidential campaign and in 2010 ran for Iowa Secretary of State receiving 3.1 percent of the vote with 33,683 votes.
