Michael Lopez joined the Libertarian Party in 2017 after voting for Gary Johnson. Since then, he has served as a delegate from Ohio to the 2020, 2022, and 2024 Libertarian National Conventions, and as a delegate from Montgomery County to the Libertarian Party of Ohio State Conventions in 2018, 2020, and 2022.
